UK Government bidding - because it's worth it
Updated: Nov 21, 2020
If you’re not used to government bidding it can be a daunting and complicated process, but the prize is worth it - not just for the pleasure of serving your fellow citizens, but also keeping your business afloat given the potential numbers involved.
The UK Government plans for 2020/21 for the Department of Health & Social Care spending include £83,075m on procurement. That does include paying GPs, but it’s still a not insignificant number. Defence - £13,057m.
And don’t think you cannot join in as a SME. In 2018/19 the Central Gov direct spend with SMEs was £6,410m. That’s direct, so think of all the sub-contracts under the bigger companies too.
If you've not dipped a toe into the UK Government market, then think about it. We can help.
